Scrapling time...

Donna was our hostess this time, and she challenged us to make a scrapling. How fun! I didn't have a lot of time, but I pulled out the Frames set and dove into my scrap box to create this little number.

It's pretty straightforward - I started with a piece of robin's egg blue cardstock, and stamped the image and sentiment with Brilliance Starlite Black (love that color - rich tone with an elegant shimmer), then inked the edges and dabbed on just a bit more ink with a stipple brush. All done!

It's really small, but I can't help but think how perfect it would be to include with a little gift - a book, a candy bar, whatever! Definitely a great way to tuck in some encouragement...

Cute, cute, cute. I have the same set and I think I have to try your technique.

God bless

How pretty! I mostly use these as gift tags and they would be perfect to include with a book...especially if you turn one into a bookmark like Susan T. did!

Very nice! and I like the idea of a 'tuck-in' especially for a lunch box. Not too much, but still special.

This is a good idea to use a scrapling ... I like to give little words of encouragement or thoughts to friends, family, and co-workers!! Great use of the frame set!

I think it's perfect Trish. I absolutely love this concept. I just made one for my dd to give my pastor's wife (she cleans for them once a week) with something I was returning to her. I'm the world's slowest card maker, but these are so quick, and a great way to use bits and pieces!
