I shared a simple dragonfly card a couple weeks ago. Giddy from the success of actually managing a decent single layer card, I sat down with the smARTworks Vintage Variety plate and challenged myself to create a few more.
For this first one, I stamped the image with gray versafine ink and then added soft color with prismacolor pencils. Muted but not dull - another success!
I'm not as pleased with this second one, and would love some feedback on how you think I should spiff it up. It's small - only 4 1/4" square. I stamped the sun with gold brilliance ink (so in my defense, there is a lovely sheen IRL) and then added the wonderful quote from Helen Keller. Thoughts?
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!!

Oh... these are awesome! I love CAS cards! Thanks for visiting me and leaving me some love! :)
Wow!! I haven't looked at your blog in forever, and now I realize what I've been missing in my life. Seriously, your cards are terrific! The simplicity speaks volumes!
I love the sentiments on these cards and how you matched the papers to a nature theme.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Power of a Praying Parent has really changed the way I pray for the better. I love crying out to God in a very specific way.
God Bless as you adjust in your move and new home!
OMG - don't touch the second one at all!! It is georgous!! I love, love, love it!!!! In fact, I am planning on CASEing it!! and your other card is great too. I've yet to create anything with that image but I love it so!!!
Trish, the cardinal card is just so classy! I absolutely love it! Really stunning! I'm kicking myself for not getting that image, lol! The second card is cute; I don't think it needs anything.
