For my card, I used a pale bluish gray for the focal panel (definitely not my usual) then layered it with beige and navy. Serene and just a bit somber. The main image and sentiment are from Journey, and I used Screen on the beige layer just to add a bit more dimension. I colored the main panel with prismacolor pencils (and her shirt is light pink, by the way, NOT white!) and then went over the path with glossy accents.

this is great Trish, I love all the torn edges!! And I never thought of just using vanilla....sheesh, that would have been such an easy solution. Oh well, it was fun trying to use "colors" LOL Thanks for a great challenge!!
Beautiful card. Your colors are perfect. I, too, like the torn edges.
Great card Trish. You really made us think, LOL.
God bless
Giovana
I never thought of ivory either, which is funny because when I started stamping ivory vs. white was my favorite. I especially like the subtle interested created by the 'Screen' background stamp.
Beautiful card, Trish. I absolutely love the way you highlighed the path...talk about a perfect accent!
Thanks for a great challenge!
