Poppy Trust

OK, I went waaaaaay out of my comfort zone on this one. Have I mentioned recently that orange is my absolute least favorite color? Well, I love this poppy stamp (Stampendous) so of course that led to red and orange tones. The strip across the bottom was definitely inspired by the sketch I used last week (this card). The card base is stamped with Aida cloth background (SU), and the patterned papers are DCWV. Finished off with a clip and a snippet of ribbon, then added the verse (Morningstar).

ooooh, that's beautiful. You should leave your comfort zone more often. You did good!
